posted by Vince Lombardo, July 8, 2009:

What got me started in my interest in Islam was 9-11
. I was glued to the TV all day. At first, I thought, “Oh, this is a small group of fanatics.

Then, I became gradually aware of :the constant stream of attacks around the world, Salman Rushdie, then the realization there were many women in full chadors and men who wore short pants and long hennaed beards (so they would look like Mohammed) walking the streets of Canadian cities. That fueled my interest in Islam, in learning about Islam.

What is Islam? I had no idea at the start. But my initial interest in Islam drove me to continue to learn about Islam.

It was like pulling the loose thread on a sweater. I kept pulling and found the surface explanations of political dissatisfaction and colonialism did not jibe with the expressed religious declarations of the jihadists. They were taking over the world for Allah, they said, but the leftists said it was the reaction to imperialism. The attacks were carried out in France, Britain, Spain, Chechnya, Indonesia, Philippines. Something did not add up.

When people lie to me, I want to know what they are hiding and I don’t usually rest until I satisfy my curiosity.

At each stage of exploration in learning about Islam, there was an "aha moment". One of the first I recall was the discovery of taqiyya, the pious fraud that Muslims commit whenever they feel Islam (or their own interests) need to get a leg over the infidels.

The greatest "aha moment" was the discovery of dualism. Islam contains over 36 dualisms that I have personally identified. Another "aha moment" came with the realization, in terms of the Golden Rule in religion, that there was no Golden Rule in Islam.

My great source of information has been the Center for the Study of Political Islam (CSPI). This is a think tank of academics who hide behind a front man, Bill Warner, who is a former spy and now works as a security expert. He is their spokesman, but the academics obviously are afraid for their lives, because for the first time in history, Islam is being exposed as the supremacist cult that it is.

Taqiyya and the diffuse nature of hierarchical authority in the Islamic clergy make it almost impossible to understand what Islam is.

Who speaks for Islam is an important question. (The answer is hard to find, but surprisingly simple: the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar University in Cairo speaks for Islam... He is the recognized authority over Sunnite Islam, but you will not see that spelled out anywhere.)

All the above learning about Islam has taken me about 2 ½ years to put together. I am getting down to the nitty gritty now.

Every cult has a lot in common: repression of women, threats, bullying, information control, thought control, lying, convenient morals. When a religion starts instituting convenient morals and ethics, you know something else is happening.

Some of what I have come to learn about Islam. Islam began as a criminal organization that added a religion to itself and then it became an empire based on slavery. Slavery is a positive word in Islam. When the surrounding empires of China and Europe had had enough, they fought back and Arabia Major has languished as a backwater since.

P.S. Look up Center for the Study of Political Islam on the net if you want to get an academic and skeletal description of Islam’s inner structure.

Interest in Islam

My interest in Islam came from an event - the outrage at a small cartoon. I had to ask myself, what are some of the basic beliefs of Islam - a religion that encourages rage over a little cartoon and not over violence done in the name of that religion.

So rather than learning directly about the religious texts, I tried to understand behavior, both in terms of what I came to learn about Islam and in terms of human psychology.

What is Islam? I haven't answered that yet to my satisfaction.
