Love or Just Attraction?

I am a guy, age 18. I have a friend, a best friend, a girl.

I really don’t know if I really love her or it’s just attraction.

We talk very much. We solve each other’s problems. Recently I proposed to her. She took her time to think and then rejected me.

Before me some other boy had proposed to her.
She told me that the reason for her anwser is that, she likes my nature, but that other boy is really good. She still wants me to be her best friend.

This incident is really affecting my daily life, and my studies.

I am stressed out due to her.

Is it love or just attraction? I can’t answer. Anyway, the two often go together. We’re attracted and we feel love.

But the big question does not seem to be: is it love or just attraction.

The big question here: what how do we live with it, when we have strong feelings for someone and they don’t seem to have the same feelings for us, even though they like us a lot.

It’s not easy. As you are finding, it affects your life, your studies, everything.

It’s one of the hard things about being human.

What is it best to do? It’s very important to give the other the freedom to do what is right for her – even when this is hard.

Maybe it helps to know that feelings change with time. Our own feelings change. We develop feelings for someone else – and this time, hopefully the feelings are mutual.
