You can try and deny it
I can smell a lie
You are not to be trusted

It smells like death
We know it in our gut
We'd like to believe
so much
But we know we cannot trust
not you
You've broken
trust
You've destroyed
I know it in my gut
Islam and its veils
is not
to be trusted
except we can trust
it will try
to sneak by
use our trusting

it will use
every ruse
I know it in my gut

that inner voice
Is it from spirit
It is hoarse
It's been trying to be heard
saying
they betray
do not trust their words
We know it from our gut

echo inside
