Sexual Relations. We Are Different. How to Make Him Listen?

Since we married 10 months ago, my husband always forces me to have sexual relations. Even though I am not interested I have to do it.

I just want to know how to make my husband feel that physical relations are not the only way for love.

Please help me.

Hello, Your situation is a difficult one. Your husband wants sex and gets his way, though you don't want it. You let him know you don't want sexual relations, but he doesn't listen.

I wish I had some quick and easy solution, but I don't. There is a big gap between you and your husband. It seems that he believes it is his right to have sex with you, as he is your husband. You believe you have the right to say no, and you want the 2 of you to show love in some other way.

How to bridge that gap? One, it is not always possible. Some people will not listen.

What might help? If you have not tried this, I believe it might be a good idea to talk about this when you are not in bed. In bed, you already know how things turn out.

But perhaps in the morning or in the evening before bed, you can talk about what you would like. Maybe you can bring up what you would like, how you would like things to be. Maybe the two of you can figure out a way to come closer together. That way, you can both get love in other ways than through sexual relations.

Perhaps if there were other ways of showing love, maybe you would have more interest in sexual relations.

Also, perhaps the two of you can discuss how it is that you do not get pleasure from the sexual relations. There are lots of books and articles on how to increase sexual pleasure for a woman. There is also lots of information (and bad information) on the internet. Maybe if you found something that interests you, you could show this to your husband.
