Elsa's Creativity Space - Update
  Hello and welcome,  

Something has changed - my home page.

The change has taken a long time - and yet not long. But first, I'm really pleased with this page, with how it's come together. In fact, I'm more than pleased with it. I'm proud of it.

Check it out - a new look to Elsas Word Story image Idea Music Emporium.

And now, the history. The changed image - I did that over a year ago. But I got stuck. What to do with the background color, the headings, the menu? What to do with a hundred small things? Also, so much else was pulling at me, so much to do. I put the new image aside, lived with the image that was there. I wasn't satisfied with it, but it would have to do.

What changed? I don't quite know. I know more about the web.

Even this time, things didn't just click into place. I did this, I did that. Things didn't feel quite right to me. I tried putting a simple navigation bar across the top, to make things easier for browsers. "It's not you," said Philippe - though he had in fact been the one to suggest having a navigation bar. I had to agree with him - it wasn't me. (He has en excellent editorial eye, very often seeing what I don't see, until he mentions it, and then it's obvious to me.)

From the comment that it wasn't me, I went on to create what did fit with me. Not a simple straight line. And yet there are fairly clear links to the main parts of the site. Once again, I'd love to have you check it out.

Welcome to Elsas Creativity Space

Gertrude Stein said, almost a century ago, a rose is a rose is a rose.

Much easier to say that, than to say
Elsas creativity space is
Elsas creativity space.

And what is a rose -
the word brings up much more of an image than
Elsas Creativity Space.

And indeed roses have more similarity than the pages
of Elsas Creativity Space.

Sp updates are extra helpful.
What's new?

Today conservative America is on one front burner.
Right wing conservative America -
and bad thinking in right wing conservative America.

But there's a second front burner.
Simmering away is creative stuff -
not all upbeat.
Stuff on the death of desire - a death of desire poem.
Plus I need help lyrics. Yes, help needed, please help me lyrics.
Too much, sometimes. So on to the beach -
peaceful poems.

And then a return to work, working, doing, trying.
