Answer 1: an answer that takes into account the facts and logic.
Answer 2: It's even more a great answer,
if it's said in a way that people can hear it.

have massive defenses - walls in the mind. During the French Revolution, amidst all the cries for liberty, equality and fraternity, Olympes de Gouges suggested that sorority - women's ights - mght also be a good thing, The answer was swift: off with their head.

What one wants is a magic bullet answer. With cancer
a magic bullet would kill the cancer and leave the patient healthy.
With good answers, a magic bullet ...
* knocks out the unfounded beliefs,
* leaves the person with more mental clarity than before,
* and also leaves the one delivering the message unharmed.
That last part tends to be the hardest.

It's to create - serious stuff - a greater perception of reality.

A good answer can be very threatening to those who want things to stay as they are,
who may have built their lives around a certain vision of reality.
