Little Puppy Dog, Fast as the Wind

Coco is a 1 year old shih tzu and loves to run and play. On a summer day in june 2009, we were in a park in Antree and there was a tan greyhound there. As soon as I let Coco off the lead she was gone like the wind.

I was talking to an old lady when she said, "He's a race dog."

I replied, "Shall we have a race for fun."

"Sure," she replid.

We got the dogs on the lead and the the count down was on...

3..2..1..GO!! Coco was in the lead by a mile when the greyhound (whose name was Scooter) came neck with her. It was neck and neck till the last second where Coco ran as fast as she could...

COCO HAD WON!! I gave her treats and hugs and kisses.

"Good race. The old lad must be getting a little old" the women said."He's only 3 but still there's a first for everything."

"How does he do in the races?" I asked.

"Quite well. You should join a club or somtehing."

So I did.
