and strong
They're there
The woman is unsure
or off with another
He isn't gone
I haven't met
those men
who love like a rock
while I'm anything but certain
I've met men
ready to leave
vanish
Maybe I'm too happy
hungry
steady
doubting
Anyway
still looking

of unrequited love
There's the sad love poem
of unignited love
There are sad love poems
of not finding love at all.
A sad sad heart
sings deep sad poems
deeper than oceans
about the depths
of unignited love
Love and sad poems
are too often a pair
Would be better
a pair of lovers
But when not,
when unrequited love,
unignited love,
no love lost ...
