MANY QUOTES FROM THE QURAN,
MANY ANTI-WEST, ANTI-DEMOCRACY IMAMS,
ALONGSIDE IMAGES OF VIOLENCE LINKED TO THE WORDS
The film is, for many Muslims, "controversial" - meaning there have been lots of efforts
to have it banned, and Muslims have succeeded in having it removed from YouTube.
But I don't see anything controversial. It's just passages from the Quran,
and imams saying what they want to say. The only thing I can come to, re the fuss about it,
is that many Muslims do not want to face what is being presented in the film.
They have not protested against these imams, against the passages in the quran, and now -
as with the Danish cartoon - many are protesting against the film,
rather than the impetus for the film: Muslim violence and the anti-West, anti-democracy,
anti-tolerance sentiments of many Muslims.

Until 2006, Hirsi Ali was a member of the Dutch Parliament, representing
the liberal People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy.

In 2002, she urged the closure of The Netherlands’ 41 Islamic schools - many of which were
indoctrinating young Muslims with hatred towards the society that had given them refuge -
and the reform of Article 23 of the Dutch Constitution, which endorses the multicultural principle
of 'integration with maintenance of one's own identity.' As The Guardian reported,
‘Jaws hit the table. The reaction she got indicated how badly she had started trampling on taboos.’

Big argument: not only should one be willing to criticize Islam, but we need to look at it,
and not through rose colored glasses - glasses splattered with blood, these days,
including the blood of Muslims and non-Muslims blown up the Muslim suicide bombers
assured by Muslim religious leaders that this is a sure-fire way to getting
an immediate entry into heaven.

We denounce Islam as a false doctrine of hate and terror.
However we are not against Muslims who are our own kin and relatives.
We do not advocate hate and violence. Muslims are the main victims of Islam.
Our goal is to educate them and let them see the truth.

Today humanity is being challenged. Unthinkable atrocities take place on daily basis.
There is an evil force at work that aims to destroy us. The agents of this evil respect nothing;

Terrorism is not an ideology, it is a tool; but the terrorists kill for an ideology.

The entire world, both Muslims and non-Muslims claim that the terrorists have hijacked
"the religion of peace" and Islam does not condone violence.

Who is right? Do the terrorists understand Islam better, or do those who decry them?
The answer to this question is the key to our victory, and failure to find that key will result
in our loss and death will be upon us. The key is in the Quran and the history of Islam.

Those of us, who know Islam, know that the understanding of the terrorists of Islam is correct.
They are doing nothing that their prophet did not do and did not encourage his followers to do.
Murder, rape, assassination, beheading, massacre and sacrilege of the dead
"to delight the hearts of the believers" were all practiced by Muhammad,
were taught by him and were observed by Muslims throughout their history.

If truth has ever mattered, it matters most now! This is the time that we have to call
a spade a spade. This is the time that we have to find the root of the problem
and eradicate it. The root of Islamic terrorism is Islam. The proof of that is the Quran....

In 1994 after reading the Quran I came to the conclusion that Islam is not a religion from God.
It took me two years of denial and inner struggle to finally admit that Islam
is indeed a satanic cult and very dangerous.

Islamic terrorism is inspired by Islamic teachings. We can never get rid of Islamic terrorism
unless we defeat the ideology behind it and that is Islam itself. Islam induces hate backed by lies.
Muhammad was a terrorist by his own admission. All Muslims, to the extent that they follow him,
are terrorists. Those Muslims who are not terrorists are ignorant of Islam
and are not good Muslims. Fortunately they are the majority.

How to Stop Terrorism? And How to Stop Bad Thinking?

I am brimming with ideas, questions, thoughts.

And around me, most often I have come up against walls. One must be tolerant. One must not question religion. One must be accepting. I have slowly dragged myself out of the swamp of unthinking tolerance. It never felt right to be there. But it has taken a long time to put my ideas together.

I identified with Al Gore, in his journey in An Inconvenient Truth. He was trying to convey his truth for twenty years - his growing truth, his ever more inconvenient truth with the evidence mounting ever higher. What I admired most: he didn't give up. He kept working at saying his truth in an ever better, clearer way. No one would have faulted him for giving up, faced with the dragon of a presidential campaign scuttled by someone from the left as well as a stupid crook on the right - stupid but very powerful and with powerful friends and family. But he did not give up. And now there it is, An Inconvenient Truth, for all to see.

Of course he hasn't been alone in what he's been seeing - and likewise I'm not alone.

So what have I seen, and what am I trying to convey?

I'm trying to convey what seems to be a good route in the quest to figure out how to stop terrorism. Here's some of what I look at:

DEFINITION OF TOLERANCE. WHAT IS TOLERANCE.

The West's insistence, these days, on tolerance is just an dangerous as its previously generally closed mind to the equality of women and men, of people of all races and sexual orientations. It has just taken its generally closed mind and, having let in a few truths, kept parts of its mind as closed as ever. Rigidly closed. That's not just stupid but dangerous.

HISTORY OF MUSLIM RELIGION. RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE. RELIGIOUS INTOLERANCE.

I'm not great at going out and getting facts. I am good at mulling over the facts that do come my way. So one fact that hit me in the face was that there was huge Muslim outrage over a small Danish cartoon but no huge Muslim outrage over Muslim murder of others (mainly Muslims, at that), over massive amounts of genital mutilation, etc. Instead of outrage at millions of mutilations, over and over I heard that Westerners had no right to pass judgment over other cultures. Strangely, that argument was not used to say we had no right to judge Communist repression, Nazi horrors. Once again, that made no sense. I was not given any grounds, by the way, as to why I should be selectively blind, selectively able to evaluate information (Communism - good to judge; Islam - bad to judge).

Though the disproportionate outrage over one cartoon was enough of a fact for me to see that something very wrong was going on, it makes sense to do much more exploring of facts - such as on the history of the Muslim religion.

GOOD THINKING IS ENERMOUSLY HELPFUL.

I do pay attention to facts. My bigger pleasure, though, is thinking about them, puzzling things out.

So a tiny fact - the unwarranted tempest about a cartoon - was enough to set me off on an exploration of a religion, of ways of thinking, manipulations of reality, a slow danger.

I have explored most fully my home culture - the West - because it is much of that culture which has stayed silent, as if paralyzed by its rhetoric of tolerance and acceptance, as if trapped in a poisonous web - so that the ideology of tolerance and acceptance, instead of freeing and opening minds, has been used - not only to not think - but to attempt to shut up people, like myself, ready and eager to explore - rather like Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark, managing to get out of even a pit of writhing snakes. Here the snakes hiss, you must not be judge mental, you have not right to judge another religion, who are you to know, all opinions are equal, every religion is equal.

Not easy, when one does not want to intone accepted doctrines.
