Meg, Jon and Myra Face a Cold and Rainy Day

It was one of those dark and stormy days. Nasty, cold, windy, damp. Even thinking about going outdoors made them all shiver.
As Meg put it, "Yuck." Usually Jonathan would be out - her brother hated to be cooped up indoors - but today was too much,
even for him. As for Myra, their cousin, she hardly ever went outdoors. She liked looking outdoors, kind of lost in space,
but most of the time, she was reading.

Meg had invented a kind of chanting game, the same words over and over, for when she was bored,
and for when she wanted something. Kids story, kids stories, stories for kids, childrens story, childrens stories, stories for kids.
Kids audio books, kids books, online kids books, online stories for children.
It drove Jon crazy when she did it out loud, so most of the time, she did it sort of under her breath.
Inside herself she was sure it worked, at least some of the time - that sometimes she got what she was chanting for.

Now Myra said, "How about a story?"

Meg mumbled the words once more, just for good luck.
Kids story, kids stories, stories for kids, childrens story, childrens stories, stories for kids.
Kids audio books, kids books, online kids books, online stories for children.

Silence. So she went to her final thing. She added apostrophes in her head:
Children's story, children's stories, children's book, children's books, children's literature.

"Okay. Why not."

When Jon said that, Meg was sure that, once again, the magic had worked.
