Elsa's Creativity Space - Update
   Hello again,    

So much has changed, and I'd love to know what you think of the changes.

First, the opening image is different. Second, 2 huge new sections are being developed - sections where all people can upload samples of their creative works free.

Instead of saying more, I want to invite you to look at the opening page now and before, and then I'll show you the opening pages for the new sectios.

The opening image used to go on and on, way down the page. Now there are separate pages for the sections hidden far down the page.

Before, by the way, it didn't matter that these sections were hidden - they were sections planned for the future. But now The Creativity Emporium and My Creative Match - places where all people can upload samples of their creative works - are being developed.

Projected launch date: October 7. Projected sneak preview date: September 7.

Again, I'd love to have you take a look and tell me what you think. And if you're one of those people with stories, music, images you'd like to get further out into the world, you might also also like to register - it's free, and you'll get the chance to be among the first to upload, and have your works displayed at the top.

What do you think? I'd love to know. COMMENTS, anyone?.

One thing I wonder: how many of you prefer the before version? That's one of the tough parts of creativity. It's not like 2 and 2, with a single right answer.

More on the opening image.

The creativity site has been around for just over a year. I did the best I could with the opening image a year ago. It didn't completely grab me, but I couldn't do better. A few months ago, I tried again. That attempt didn't work out at all. I put it aside.

A few days ago, I gave the image another try - and things came together, at least according to me. I don't know why or how - maybe things had had a long enough time to simmer inside me and somehow sort themselves out.

And now: ANOTHER BIG CHANGE IS HAPPENING. So far, I've been working on my own. But to make a site where everyone can upload, programming is needed. That's not something I know how to do - and it's not something I want to learn. I have more than enough on my plate already.

A few weeks ago I put an ad on the web. Now I've chosen the person I'd like to work with. I hope it works out.

Most humans would just register that it's

And it is.
But there's more.

The name is a signal.

i am not calling mayday. This is not a distress signal.

It's a hello signal, come see me, notice me.

Hello,

calling all search engines
to find me on my island
deserted but fertile
enchanted but isolated
creative and creating but too too alone.

Who will help me through my dark?
Who will help me make my mark?
Who will help me build my ark?
I cannot do it alone.

I'm calling to people
but strangely it's not people
I am turning to for help.

It's the web
the world wide web.

I'm calling hoping the web will hear that
