Could Ghosts Really Exist?     

Are there ghosts? Is magic real? What about ghost dogs?

What is real and what isn't?

Are dogs real? I never had to ask that. I could see. Other things I couldn't check on my own, but they were part of the everyday world. How far away is the moon? I didn't know, but scientists had figured that out, and there was no debate.

But … in some stories, ghosts are real, and in others they're not. Worse, when you turn to grownups, you don't get just one answer. Some believe in them. Some don't. Some claim to have met them. Others snort. And there's no simple way of getting at the answer.

At least there wasn't for me. I didn't meet any ghosts. But that didn't prove anything. Maybe I just wasn't in the right place. Or maybe I just didn't have a knack for seeing ghosts.

There's another question: are aliens real? Is there proof aliens exist? Finding proof of aliens is more like finding proof of water on Mars. Scientists keep getting more and more information about the universe, using our regular five senses, and one day we should know for sure if there are aliens out there (or on earth) or not.

Are aliens real? Is there proof aliens exist? One thing is pretty much for sure. Aliens are not trying to make friends with us. After all, if they're smart enough and advanced enough to be able to come to earth, they should be able to make themselves known to us all, if they wanted that.

But back to ghosts. Ghosts, that's something else - something I never looked into, until there were 2 deaths close to me. That's when I started writing about weird Geela Gribbs and Caro Carolina, 13.

Do ghosts exist? That's a big question for Caro. Her two best friends have stopped talked to her and then a weird stranger moves in next door. With her is – or so she says – an invisible dog. Click to go to CARO'S QUEST
